                                                          In Memoriam

Charter Member James J Powers #224 passed away on Friday, October 27, 2017. James retired from the NYPD after 20 years of service, he then joined the Drug Enforcement Administration from which he retired in 1998 after putting in 22 years. Our condolences to the Powers family.

                                                           Condolences

Condolences to member Ed Day on the passing of his mother, Jane E. Day. We extend our sympathy to Ed and the entire Day family.

                                                        Congratulations
Member John Monahan has published a novel “HEAD ON NYPD takes on ISIS”. Kirkus Reviews writes
“a steady pace throughout, including the frequent dialogue exchanges, while  Jimmy turns into the kind of protagonist who can easily carry his own series. Dynamic characters—good and bad guys alike—beef up this action-laden tale.”  The book is available at Amazon, Barnes and Noble and local booksellers.
